Welcome to KleenNest! We are Maggie and Josh. We started making our own laundry detergent in 2024 to try to cut out harmful, unnecessary, and synthetic chemicals that we noticed in many store bought detergents. The more we researched, the more we realized how toxic almost all of the products we used on a daily basis were. So many of the harmful chemicals were linked to health problems like skin irritation, respiratory problems, cancer, hormone imbalance, and more. Hormone imbalance alone can lead to even bigger issues such as infertility, thyroid disorders, weight gain/loss, and sleep disturbance... and that is only scratching the surface! We began making any home and personal care items that we could with natural ingredients to make our home safer and healthier: dishwasher detergent, shampoo, lip balm, bar soap, hand soap, face wash, moisturizer, all purpose cleaner, and glass cleaner to name a few.

As we dove deeper into making our home healthier one product at a time, our passion for it also grew. As we continue to experiment with new recipes and products at home, we want to share the products that we have tested and love with you! Our goal is to make clean, non-toxic products with natural ingredients accessible and affordable for others to enjoy, too.
